Road Trauma Memorial Project Update

Progress continues on a number of fronts with this work. In June 2010 RMIT’s Research Design Centre hosted a weekend workshop, and based on feedback from a range of people affected by road trauma, two design teams each developed integrated concepts for (i) a permanent installation in Victoria (ii) a virtual memorial and (iii) a personalised keepsake.

'Support at The Time of Need' - a joint project with Victoria Police

Road Trauma Support Services Victoria (RTSSV) in conjunction with Victoria Police have recently launched their 'Support at the Time of Need Project'.
 
The project whch is funded by the Helen Macpherson Smith Trust and Victoria Police, will see witnesses and families affected by car crashes receive on-the-spot information about the impact of road trauma.
