Chief Executive Officer
Paul Ashton - B.Comm

Paul has over 25 years experience working in the Corporate Sector in Accounting, Manufacturing and Travel and Tourism and consulting in strategic and business planning in Victoria, Tasmania and the Northern Territory, working with government, small business and Aboriginal communities .
Paul brings over 10 years experience in the not for profit sector, working first with Make-A-Wish Foundation where he was responsible for all activities related to fundraising, marketing and volunteering, before moving onto work for an independent school as their Development Manager.
Most recently, as General Manager Community Relations, Mind Australia he established the department where he was responsible for all activities related to raising; awareness, profile and funding across both Victoria and South Australia and led the organisation in a change process that resulted in it changing its name, undertaking a major advertising campaign and in the introduction of a number of major fundraising initiatives.
Manager, Education Programmes
Chris Harrison
Chris has spent more than 20 years in community work in the fields of drug and alcohol, youth and in education and training. Chris has worked at local, regional and state levels to develop and implement educational programmes and to lobby for different groups at State and Federal level.
Originally from regional Victoria Chris is committed to ensuring access to metropolitan based programmes rolled out state-wide.
Chris has been with Road Trauma Support Services Victoria (RTSSV) since 2007 and manages the Education Programme.
Team Leader, Counselling and Support Services
Bernadette Nugent - B.SW & Dip. Family Therapy
Bernadette has been working in Melbourne as a practitioner of social work and family therapy for 25 years, working in all areas of direct counselling, including grief and bereavement.
Prior to being employed with the Department of Defence as a social worker for the last several years, Bernadette has worked in community based organisations, providing social work services to with individuals, couples and families.
Bernadette joins RTSSV in 2012, committed to using her skills and experience in both counselling and management.
